These terms govern the Futr marketing website and waitlist at getfutr.app. Separate terms apply inside the Futr mobile app when it launches.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Futr Labs, Inc. (“Futr,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the website at getfutr.app (the “Site”). By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What the Site is
The Site is a marketing page and waitlist for Futr, an upcoming play-money social app for friendly wagers between friends. Futr uses virtual points for bragging rights only — there is no real money, no deposits, no withdrawals, and no gambling. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the app, and features described on the Site may change before launch.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist or use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with the laws that apply to you.
The waitlist
- You agree to provide an accurate email address that you own.
- We may contact you about early access, launch, and related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- We may add, remove, or reprioritize waitlist access at our discretion, and we may discontinue the waitlist at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, automated, or bulk signups, or someone else’s email without permission.
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Site.
- Copy, scrape, or reuse Site content except as allowed by law.
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including the Futr name, logo, text, and design — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without prior written permission.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Futr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site.
Changes to the Site and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Site, and update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
